Certified Foot Care Practitioner, Clinically trained in Advanced and Basic Nursing Foot Care. With a background in Social Work and 20 years experience in Residential Health Care. I have gained an expertise caring for vulnerable people with a wide spectrum of developmental, medical and physical needs. I have a passion for foot care and truly look forward to improving quality of life for patients with exceptional care.
Foot care is very important. Properly caring for your feet can alleviate and prevent many problems from occurring. Life happens, we put things off, sudden injuries occur, medical and physical conditions develop or worsen. There are many things that can affect our ability to maintain healthy feet independently. There is no judgement here, your feet are welcome as they are! I am dedicated to providing compassionate care with a smile!

Fees
Mobile foot care services in Ottawa available in personal residence, community group homes, long-term care facilities, retirement homes and while in hospital for treatment.

Initial Visit $75 (1hour+) - Includes Assessment, Treatment and Charting

Repeat Visit $50 (30mins) or $70 (1hour) - Includes Ongoing Treatment and Charting. Recommended every 6-8 weeks

Group Setting (4+) $40 Per Individual (30mins) - Includes Treatment and Charting

Add Fingernail Cutting $10
Payment for appointment is due at time of service. Cash, Cheque or E-Transfer are accepted.
Any parking fees incurred for appointment will be added to Patient's Fee. You will receive a courtesy call the day before your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
Appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. You can cancel an appointment by text, phone or email.
Instrument Care
In order to keep you safe and reduce the risk of infection, all tools are professional and sterile. Foot care instruments are reprocessed and sterilized using the Ritter M9 Steam Sterilizer (autoclave). Strict reprocessing policies and procedures are followed as required by Public Health Ontario and Infection Prevention and Control Canada. Instruments will always be opened in front of you at time of treatment and instruments used will be logged in your chart with the labelled date/cycle of reprocessing.
Insurance Policy
As a Foot Care Practitioner practicing foot care I am insured through Zensurance. This comprehensive insurance coverage provides you with peace of mind knowing you are in safe and capable hands.
Services provided by Holmes Foot Care are NOT covered by OHIP, private insurance or Veterans Affairs Canada. You may be able to claim your services on your annual income tax.
